Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, promotes deep rest and relaxation – 1 45-minute session could leave you feeling like you indulged in a peaceful three-hour nap! Anyone can do Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra works by gently guiding you though several stages of awareness. It's a simple way to reduce stress. It helps improve your sleep and reduce insomnia. Yoga Nidra helps release tension and pain while connecting you deeply to your true self. Studies have show that while meditation and yoga nidra were both effective in reducing anxiety and stress, yoga nidra seemed to be more effective in reducing in anxiety; plus, it is a useful tool in reducing both cognitive and physiological symptoms of anxiety.
