This course is for any student who wants to build more stamina and feel the energising flow of movement. There are so many of us that feel like traditional yoga is too difficult or can negatively impact our current injuries. Tina has designed a chair yoga class to get you aligned and help you feel more vibrant. Chair yoga is a highly beneficial yet simple workout solution that gently improves overall body strength and joint health. With this class, yoga expert, Tina Nilsson, provides yoga exercises that target common areas of tension, weakness, and inflammation. These healing movements will also help build more flexibility and tone muscles all while being comfortably supported. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, promotes deep rest and relaxation – 1 45-minute session could leave you feeling like you indulged in a peaceful three-hour nap! Anyone can do Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra works by gently guiding you though several stages of awareness. It's a simple way to reduce stress. It helps improve your sleep and reduce insomnia. Yoga Nidra helps release tension and pain while connecting you deeply to your true self. Studies have show that while meditation and yoga nidra were both effective in reducing anxiety and stress, yoga nidra seemed to be more effective in reducing in anxiety; plus, it is a useful tool in reducing both cognitive and physiological symptoms of anxiety.
